USES Recommended for application on suitably primed steel structures exposed to chemical and industrial environment in fertilizer, refineries, petrochemicals, paper and pulp plants, food and pharmaceutical units, etc.
Application:

Stir the base thoroughly and then mix three parts of base and one part of catalyst by volume to uniform consistency. Allow the mixture to mature for 30 minutes and stir again before and during application.

Brush: Apply without thinning. However, if required during application add maximum upto 5% Thinner 844.

Conventional Spray: Add maximum upto 10% Thinner depending on conditions. Use any standard equipment at an atomising pressure of 3.5-4.2 Kg/cm².

Airless Spray: Apply preferably without thinning. However, upto 5% Thinner 844 may be added if absolutely essential depending on conditions. Use any standard equipment having pump ratio 30:1. Tip size 0.33-0.38 mm. Tip pressure 110-140 Kg/cm².

Application:

Stir the base thoroughly and then mix base and catalyst in the recommended proportion to uniform consistency. Application of first coat should preferably be done by brushing for better wetting of the surface. For brushing , use a short bristle for working the material into all irregularities. However, brush marks will be visible. In order to achieve desired performance it is essential that the recommended film thickness is obtained. On sharp edges, bolt heads, flanges, etc., application of a stripe coat will assure freedom from skips or holidays.

Conventional Spray: Normally no thinning is required. However, addition of Thinner 825 upto 5% is recommended for ease of application. Use any standard equipment at an atomising pressure of 3.2 - 4.2 Kg/cm2. Airless Spray: Apply without thinning. Use any standard equipment having pump ratio 45:1, Tip size 0.38 to 0.43mm. Tip pressure 145 - 190 Kg/cm2.

It is Particularly important with this product that the recommended film thickness is not exceeded and for this reason application by brush is advisable although application by spray is also possible.

Brush: Apply without thining; an even coat taking to avoid runs or sags.
